I had a great time at the tunnel working with Simon and the team to refine my aerodynamics and bike position. Please thank them all again for their hospitality and for making the experience so enjoyable and very productive. I’m really impressed with the gains already.
I’m not sure if Simon and the team would be interested, but first race (25 mile TT) following my tunnel session this year went well with a win by a surprising margin – no doubt significantly contributed by my tweaked aerodynamic position.
I just wanted to email you and the team for yesterday at the wind tunnel. Please thank Simon and the team for all their hard work and effort they put in to my time at the wind tunnel. I know that he has worked with far superior athletes and professionals who really have massive potential but the team yesterday made me feel incredibly welcome and that they were 100% committed for me to find and achieve my best position. A brilliant service, friendly and welcoming and more importantly I had the opportunity to work with and learn from some very experienced and knowledgeable people.
Many thanks for your input and help today at the Wind Tunnel session. I found it a fascinating experience. I’m very pleased with the extent of gains you’ve found in my set-up and now look forward to seeing how fast I can go in Time Trials next year!
Simon, I just wanted to send you an end of season note to thank you for the aero testing back in January. The revised position and advice I went away with on the day has resulted in substantial improvements. Thanks to Smart Aero and JBST, my 4th season was the best by far.
Simon Natalie Hi, well I won the TT. I can say with absolute confidence, without your help it would not be possible. So just a quick small note but a real big thank you.
Hi Simon, I wanted to say thank you for what was an extremely interesting and enjoyable day at the wind tunnel last week. I was very impressed with the quality of service that you and all the staff provided throughout the process, which made the experience all the more enjoyable.
I have of course spent hours looking over the data gathered from the session and it is incredible to see the difference that a small position change can make. Although I’ve only had a handful of training sessions since last week, the initial transition to the new position has been good and I am very confident of being able to hold it throughout an Ironman bike leg.
Hi Natalie, I came on Tuesday and would like to say the whole experience was excellent. I was given some excellent advice and learnt a lot about the whole concept of aerodynamics. Please can you thank the 3 guys that worked on my technique.
Much is written about aerodynamics, a lot of it confusing and contradictory. Simon provides the knowledge and self-awareness that you need to improve your riding position and optimise speed. Whilst a wind tunnel session is not cheap, it is a fascinating experience that gives you the peace of mind about your bike set-up that might otherwise only be determined as a matter of luck. In the process you save a lot of time and not just in a time trial.
Thanks for your help last week and we managed to get back to Manchester with relative ease. Can you also please relay our gratitude to SImon and the team for another excellent session at the WInd Tunnel, the service and attention to detail is impressive.
