6-Axis of Adjustment

A DRAG2ZERO mounting kit is all about adjustment and unlocking your 6 Degrees of Freedom (6-DoF). This provides you with three translational movements—forward/backwards, left/right, and up/down — and three rotational movements—rotation around the vertical axis (yaw), side-to-side tilt (pitch/angle), and roll. In aerodynamic rider testing, controlling and measuring all six is critical because wind never hits an object from just one perfectly aligned direction in the real world.

Data Driven

DRAG2ZERO products are fundamentally data-driven, built on rigorous wind tunnel testing at two of the most respected facilities in the world: the Mercedes-AMG F1 Wind Tunnel in Silverstone and the FUSION Wind Tunnel in Denmark. These environments allow precise control of airflow, yaw, and rider position, producing repeatable, high-resolution aerodynamic data rather than assumptions or simulations. Every design decision is validated and refined through iterative testing until measurable gains are achieved. The result is equipment grounded in elite-level motorsport methodology, delivering proven aerodynamic performance that translates directly to real-world gains.

DRAG2ZERO.44 pole system is engineered to provide a seamless transition from bike to rider, creating a unified aerodynamic system rather than separate components.

A combination of the pole and mounting kit enables consistent alignment and support imrpoving airflow and load distribution, allowing the rider to settle naturally into position without disruption. This smooth integration ensures comfort, stability, and aerodynamic integrity.

Product Details

The DRAG2ZERO .44 pole system is a UCI-compliant aero cockpit designed to deliver world-class aerodynamic gains with a high degree of adjustability, making it ideal for time trial and triathlon riders seeking performance within racing regulations. The Carbon poles and Aluminium mounting kit is engineered so the pole and forearm act as one aerodynamic surface, reducing drag and delivering on average 7–9 watt savings compared to standard poles. The .44 system offers extensive reach and toe angle adjustment (up to ~125 mm and 6degrees of toe adjustment), improving fit and comfort.

 
  • Reduced Drag & Increased Support – With no gap between the pole and forearm and improved aero profiling, .44 poles and your forearm become one object in the air with virtually no flow separation between them. Combined with an optimised position from the high degree of adjustment offered by the mounting system, body drag is reduced, resulting in an immediate drag reduction of up to 6-7 watts compared to standard poles.
  • Comfort and Sustainability –  The extra contact between the pole and forearm allows the upper body to be more relaxed, increasing rider comfort and sustainability– for many of our test riders, this has been a real game changer, allowing them to improve overall performance.
  • Increased Adjustability – Through our unique interlocking mounting system, riders will have up to 125mm of reach adjustment and 6° of both positive and negative toe, combined with a choice of angled shims between 12.5° and 30°. This will ensure riders can find the perfect level of adjustment. (For more information regarding system adjustment, please look at the dimensions tab below.) We recommend between 20 and 25 degrees.
