MOUNTING KIT

The Canyon Speedmax has used three different cockpit systems across model years, each requiring a different mounting solution.

Factor uses different cockpit systems depending on model and year.
The Giant Trinity uses different cockpit systems depending on the model year. The 2025+ uses a mono riser; older models use a standard dual basebar.
The Liv Avow changed cockpit systems with the 2025 model year update.
Select your exact Scott model — the Plasma 5 and Plasma 6 / RC TT require different solutions.
The Shiv TT and Shiv Tri use different mounting systems, and requirements vary by year. Select the option that best describes your bike.
The 2022+ Speed Concept uses a direct-mount system. Pre-2022 models use a mono riser conversion with a Trek-specific spacer.
DRAG2ZERO offers two mono conversion kits. The V2 is UCI legal and suits both triathlon and time trial racing. The V1 is non-UCI, lighter and suits triathletes.
The mounting kit depends on your bike's cockpit setup. Check the underside of your basebar for bolts, or refer to your bike manual.
Measure the centre-to-centre distance between the two mounting bolts on your basebar. This determines which universal kit fits.

Universal Mounting Kits
Compatible with a dual podium system, which has a flat mounting surface on either the basebar or proprietary riser and an M5 or M6 bolt spacing between 12mm and 50mm.
We have 3 different Universal Mounting Kit options, please see below.
Universal Direct Mount
Compatible with M5 and M6 bolt-up basebar systems with bolt spacings between 12.5mm and 39.5mm.
Universal Baseplate Mount
Compatible with M5 and M6 bolt-up and bolt-down basebar systems with a bolt spacing between 12mm and 41mm.
Universal Width Reach Plates
Compatible with M5 and M6 bolt-up and bolt-down systems with a bolt spacing between 14mm and 50mm.
Mono Conversion Mounting Kits
We have 2 types of mono conversion mounting kits.
- V1 Mono Conversion Plate Kit – These are not UCI legal and are recommended for triathletes.
- V2 Mono Conversion Plate Kit – These are UCI legal and are recommended for both UCI and Non-UCI riders
These require a flat mounting surface and an M6 bolt spacing between 20mm and 85mm
Round Bar Mounting Kits
Compatible with 31.8mm handlebars and basebar systems.
Bike-Specific Mounting Kits
Some bikes require a specific mounting kit; these bikes are listed below.
If your bike isn’t listed, you will most likely require a Universal mounting kit if you have a dual podium system or a mono conversion kit if you have a mono riser system. Please check comaptibility on the relevent pages.
Cadex Conversion Kit
Compatible with the Cadex Tri Frameset. Requires Gen2 Angled Shims and Risers.
Cervelo P5 EX10/EX14
Compatible with the Cervelo P5 with either EX10 or EX14 mono risers. Requires Gen2 Pole Clamps.
Cervelo 3T Aduro Basebar
Compatible with the Cervelo 3T Aduro Basebar. Requires Gen2 Risers and Gen2 Angled Shims.
Canyon Speedmax 2019-20
Compatible with the Canyon Speedmax 2019-2020. Requires Gen2 Risers and Gen2 Angled Shims.
Trek Speed Concept 2022+ Direct Mount
Compatible with the Trek Speed Concept 2022+. Requires Gen2 Risers and Gen2 Angled Shims.
Trek Speed Concept 2022+ Basebar Mount
Compatible with the Trek Speed Concept 2022+. Requires Gen2 Risers and Gen2 Angled Shims.
Trek Speed Concept 2022+ Riser Mount
Compatible with the Trek Speed Concept 2022+. Requires Gen2 Risers and Gen2 Angled Shims.
S-Works Shiv TT
Compatible with the S-Works Shiv TT. Requires a Universal Mounting kit, Gen2 Risers and Gen2 Angled Shims.
S-Works Shiv Tri
Compatible with the S-Works Shiv Tri. Requires a Universal Mounting kit, Gen2 Risers and Gen2 Angled Shims.

Width Adjustment Plates
Micro width adjustment of 7.5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 17.5mm on each side. Compatible with Universal and Gen2 Angled Shims
Gen2 Pole Clamps
Provides up to 6 degrees of toe adjustment each side. Compatible with Universal and Gen2 Angled shim. 22.2mm pole compatible.
Gen2 Riser Sets
Compatible with Gen2 Angeld Shims and Drag2Zero Mounting Kits. Achieve up to 100mm of additional risers
Gen2 Angled Shim Sets
Compatible with Gen2 Riser and Gen2 Pole Clamps. Achieve angles between 12.5 degrees and 30 degrees.
Universal Riser Sets
Compatible with flat mounting systems and Universal Angeld Shims. Achieve up to 60mm of additional risers.
Universal Angled Shim Sets
Compatible with flat mounting systems and Universal Angeld Shims. Achieve angles between 12.5 and 25 degrees.
Gen1 Pole Clamp Set
Compatible with Universal Angled Shims. Provides a 15mm pole to podium offset.
