MOUNTING KIT
Answer a few questions about your bike and we'll identify the exact mounting kit you need — using the official DRAG2ZERO compatibility guide.

The Canyon Speedmax has used three different cockpit systems across model years, each requiring a different mounting solution.

Factor uses different cockpit systems depending on model and year.
The Giant Trinity uses different cockpit systems depending on the model year. The 2025+ uses a mono riser; older models use a standard dual basebar.
The Liv Avow changed cockpit systems with the 2025 model year update.
Select your exact Scott model — the Plasma 5 and Plasma 6 / RC TT require different solutions.
The Shiv TT and Shiv Tri use different mounting systems, and requirements vary by year. Select the option that best describes your bike.
The 2022+ Speed Concept uses a direct-mount system. Pre-2022 models use a mono riser conversion with a Trek-specific spacer.
DRAG2ZERO offers two mono conversion kits. The V2 is UCI legal and suits both triathlon and time trial racing. The V1 is non-UCI, lighter and suits triathletes.
The mounting kit depends on your bike's cockpit setup. Check the underside of your basebar for bolts, or refer to your bike manual.
Measure the centre-to-centre distance between the two mounting bolts on your basebar. This determines which universal kit fits.
Mounting requirements vary across Argon 18 models — select yours to find the correct kit.
Universal Mounting Kits
- Universal Direct Mount – Universal Direct Mount Assembly. Only compatible with bolt-up basebar systems and bolt spacings between 12.5mm and 39.5mm. M5 or M6 basebar bolts.
- Universal Baseplate Mount – Universal Baseplates. Compatible with both bolt-up and bolt-down systems. Requires bolt spacing between 12mm and 41mm. M5 or M6 basebar bolts.
- Universal Reach/Width Adjustment Plate – Reach & Width Adjustment Plates. Compatible with both bolt-up and bolt-down systems. Requires bolt spacing between 14mm and 50mm. M5 or M6 basebar bolts.

Mono Conversion Plates
We have 2 different mono conversion kits: For triathletes, we recommend the V1 conversion plate. This is a lighter and thinner (more aerodynamic) plate system. V2 is a UCI-compliant mono conversion plate.
